A month ago we did a wedding in Tallahassee. Katie and Daniel tied the knot on Jan. 5th, 2008 with much love and joy for each other.
Ben and Kacy, came out with me to photograph this sweet day. A little perk for Katie was that she had the honor of having her make up done by Kacy. Kacy is an awesome make-up artist who not only does weddings with me here and there, but she can and will make any bride look simply georgous on her wedding day. Kacy just recently did the make up of our good friend Scarlett Lillian when we took her out for her birthday. Check out her fabulous eye job on Scarlett Lillian! I really adore Katie and Daniel's family - in such a short period of time, I felt like part of their family. Everyone was so warm and welcoming that it almost didn't feel like we were working! Time flew by as we captured all their emotions, events and details of the day. Here are some highlighted photos from their wedding.

I have NEVER been to a wedding where the photographer was not intrusive. Now I know better. You were so sweet to my children, I liked you automatically. Now that I see your work, I admire you.

Thanks for the wonderful compliments Christy. I am SUPER big on NOT being intrusive. I purposefully make the effort not to be. It really bugs me when I am attending a wedding as a guest and I see a photographer that thinks he or she is all that and completely disregards the couple, family and guests present. I really enjoyed meeting your girls, they are so beautiful!!!!! Can't wait to get my lens on those cutie pies!
